The Fairfax County Office for Children Head Start Health and Nutrition Program offers monitoring, consultation, training, and oversight of Health and Nutrition Services for Head Start and Early Head Start children and their families in Fairfax County. The goal of the MCH program is to reduce infant mortality and morbidity and to promote the health of women, infants and children in our community. Participating on community health related projects, creating and maintaining collaborations with community agencies and Health Providers allows the team to better serve Head Start and Early Head Start children and the community at large.
Find out what drives us to do what we do.
Over the years, I've always wondered, are our children eating properly during the summer when school let out. Especially those families who's children are on reduced lunch or free lunch. Well, I want my patients to know that we care and there are resources out here. Rxforfood.com can be our patients one stop shop to these resources.
Thanks for the support that’s made it all possible!
